Overview
Our Apprentice teams will compete in a pitch to win business based on an actual company brief. They will be hired and fired along the way by our BIG BOSS and his board members.
The Objectives
- To encourage creative thinking
- Understanding the customer
- To create an agency environment for new ideas
- Budgetary control
- To encourage honest feedback from team members at the conclusion.
The Brief
Each team represents a marketing agency who have been asked to pitch to win a bid to create a new shopping channel to sell the products of a particular company. Products will vary from jewellery, clothing, gadgets, food and perhaps even a new creation put forward by the Apprentices.
Teams must consider budget, target market, unique selling point, scripts and all sales and marketing elements
The Result
At the end of the session each team will present their ideas, marketing strategy, strap lines, mission statements, and support materials to the judges. This will be followed by teams filming live, a short snippet of their TV Channel.
They must be prepared for some criticism as the judges start to sack teams. At the end there will be a winning team and perhaps an individual who really stood out from the crowd … THE APPRENTICE!
