As the name suggests we will find a community challenge for your team to help a needy and worthwhile project in the local area. It can be anything from repainting a village hall, mosaicing a bench, repairing monuments, tidying up gardens, creating a mural for a school or creating a set for a local drama group.
Team Objectives
- Give something back to the community
- Improve communication within a group
- To create something worthwhile
- To encourage a working together environment
- Revitalise a one team philosophy
- To learn a new skills
- To demonstrate that teamwork gets better results than working alone
Challenge Objectives
- To complete a restoration project within a set time scale and budget.
How it works
Each group will have a budget to spend on materials. This is real money and they have to stick to it or they will jeopardise the whole project.
Teams will be given a brief from the project leader (event manager), a tool box, reference books and a complete briefing document to get the started. The rest is up to them.
One Big Team
Although the group may be split into smaller teams, overall they have to work together to create one successful project. They need to make sure that everything they do fits in with the overall result. Teams will need to help and advise each other along the way to ensure a more successful project.
