Budget Event 1: Photo Art
A great art challenge that brings the whole group together working on one project. The group is split into teams and each team represents a famous artist’s studio. The team must recreate a photographic image using acrylic paints and canvas. Once completed all parts are put together to create a fantastic and abstract work of art to be displayed in the office.

Budget Event 2: Roller Coaster
Each team has a blue print of one section of a giant roller coaster. The aim is to construct a piece, which will then be linked to the next and so on to form the roller coaster. With various transitions and differing complexities this challenge has something for everyone. Will the teams be successful and make the structure so that the basketballs travel the entire length without falling off? Will the end mechanism work to release the helium filled balloons?

Budget Event 3: Art Works
Each team will paint a big canvas following a brief and guidance from our art tutor. They will receive a directive on what their piece of art must depict. This can be a relevant company message or perhaps an issue that needs to be explored such as diversity or communication. The final paintings are all displayed at the end and it is interesting to see how different teams interpret the same brief.

Budget Event 4: Hold the Front Page
Can the team create a front cover design for a fashion and gossip style publication in a tight deadline. They have to produce the photos through digital technology and create stories and headlines to win over the editor. The best front page wins. The brief from the editor at the start can include relevant company issues and gossip that should be included. The final front covers are displayed on BIG art boards which the teams must present at the end of the session.
